PH Organic Foxtail Millet
The Poaceae grass family includes the small, historic cereal crop known as PH Foxtail Millet, also called Setaria Italica. It is primarily produced in Asia, specifically China, India, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia. It was first cultivated in the globe around 3000 BC, making it one of the oldest millets ever. Because of its excellent nutritional value, PH Foxtail Millet is regarded as a healthy food option. It is a good provider of protein, vitamins, minerals, and fibre. It is a gluten-free cereal and an excellent choice for those who cannot consume gluten. The millet has a soft, nutty flavour and pale golden colour. Both whole and processed versions are offered. It is a significant food crop in these areas and is used as animal feed. Because of its many health advantages and adaptability in the kitchen, foxtail millet has recently become more well-known in other parts of the globe.
These plants are distinctive from others due to their structure. The annual herbaceous shrub can reach a height of 1.5 meters. It has thin leaves 1-2 cm wide and 20–40 cm tall. Small and unnoticeable, they are organized in long spike-like clusters on PH Foxtail Millet’s flowers. The seeds are tiny and spherical, with a diameter of about 2-3 millimetres, and they are available in a range of hues, including yellow, brown, white, and Gray.
